I Built a Weather App with AI in 5 Minutes Using Kimi K3 and Grok 4.6

The weather app displays a city image, current conditions, an hourly forecast for the next 24 hours, and the weather outlook for the week ahead. Users can search for different locations around the world, including Lisbon, Frankfurt, Corsica, and Cape Town, while the app updates the visual experience for each city.

The build started with a straightforward natural-language prompt asking Turbofy to create an engaging and fun weather forecast app. Kimi K3 generated the first version in just a few minutes. Grok 4.6 was then used to improve the design, refine the layout, remove the card-based styling, and create a flatter visual experience.

This video also explores Turbofy’s model selector, which makes it possible to switch between models from providers including OpenAI, Moonshot AI, Anthropic, and xAI. You can compare model pricing, review credit usage, and choose the right model for coding, design, or other app-building tasks.

After the AI-generated improvements, the app can be reviewed at different screen sizes, including mobile. The built-in editor makes it easy to adjust text, inspect individual elements, zoom in and out, and move around the page. The code can also be viewed when needed, although the main workflow is focused on building and refining the app with natural-language instructions.

This is a practical example of vibe coding, AI-assisted development, and using multiple AI models to build a working application quickly with an AI app builder.
